I have a plan!

Tom is crossing his fingers that this is it for me. I went looking back at all the plans that I had saved and then rejected for various reasons. When I came across this one again, I couldn't remember why I had cast it out! I need to tweak a few things, but overall it is the closest to what I want. I'm starting to get a little excited!

Now, I just need to get this house ready to put on the market. I have a few closets left to dejunk and two rooms to paint. I'm amazed at how many bags of stuff I've already taken to goodwill. When we first moved here we thought this house was huge and we would never fill it up. That didn't last long. It's a good thing to purge every so often. I'm loving it when I open my linen closet and everything is labeled and neat and tidy. We need to hurry and sell it before we mess it up again.

Lucky you for the new house plan. It is really nice. You have a place for a basement, are you putting one in? I like how the stairs are private. The deck is nice right off of the kitchen. You can make room in the back of the fireplace for a fireplace outside to if you wanted. The back 2 bedrooms are nice too. There is everything you need in that plan. Way to go Tmoon.

What is a "Future Area"?

Heather- the future area is a room above the garage. We don't really have plans for it right now, but our builder said it doesn't cost more to do it. We will probably leave it unfinished.

Jan-Yes we will have a basement. I really don't like unfinished basements, but I don't know if we will have the budget to finish it. I hope to have at least some bedrooms done.

Mattie- Thank You!

This is the best house plan ever. I hope your husband is happy as well. Have you considered giving him a space of his own? I would recommend the space above the garage.

He sounds like a really nice guy! He's lucky to have you that you care so much about a house plan tom make a home.
