If Your Basement Gets Filled With Water

If you have weeks of snow, slush, and melt without a roof, you will have a basement full of water. You will go and try to remove it.

The framer will want to pose for pictures.

You will have to wade through water.

You will vacuum up the water. If it is too hard, you will go and rent a sump pump.

If the sump pump doesn't work, you will go back to using the shop-vac.

If smoke and flames start shooting out the motor, you will quickly turn it off.

And, you will go and buy a new one.

If you are working with your son, he will keep track of the water and let you know you dumped 150 gallons of water and you will sleep very well.

You weren't kidding were you. That's a lot of water. I'd be nervous using all those electric power tools around the puddles of water. I heard hammering today and wondered if it was the guys working on your roof.

I love your take on the "If you give a mouse a cookie" very clever. So there's not a basement, clean the water out guy that comes with the construction crew!?

I bet's it's nice to have him home to help. Just keep telling him it's a good learning experience for him. He's such a good guy. Call if you ever need help.
